Chambers is pleased to announce that Hugh Stowe has curated the recently published specialist edition of BarNews (Spring 2018), on "Expert Evidence". John Sheahan QC for Respondent ACCC, Air New Zealand Ltd v Australian Competition and Consumer Commission; PT Garuda Indonesia Ltd v Australian Competition and Consumer Commission[2017] HCA 21 Sheahan QC appeared on behalf of the Respondent, ACCC. The Appellants were found by the primary judge to have been parties to understandings which amounted to price fixing with the imposition of surcharges on freight from ports in Asia to Australia.
