Sonia was admitted to practice in 2001 and was called to the Bar in 2016. Before coming to the Bar, Sonia was the General Manager, Regulatory & Responsible Gambling at Tabcorp and formerly the Head of Corporate Affairs & Legal at Imperial Tobacco Australia.
In private practice, she was a Senior Associate at King & Wood Mallesons in the IP & Dispute Resolution practice group.
Her expertise is in Intellectual Property, Commercial, Regulatory and Consumer Protection law, including gambling & tobacco, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, food & beverages and cosmetics.
Sonia has been recognised in 2017 Doyle’s Guide as “Emerging Intellectual Property and TMT Junior Counsel”.
