Rob has broad practice, focusing on intellectual property, trade practices, general commercial litigation, tax and administrative law. He has appeared both led and unled in the High Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Supreme Court of Western Australia, Federal Circuit Court, District Court of New South Wales, Local Court of New South Wales, IP Australia, AAT and NCAT.
Before coming to the Bar, Rob worked as a solicitor at Allens in the Intellectual Property and Banking and Finance teams and was an associate to Hon Justice Cowdroy OAM on the Federal Court of Australia.
Rob has completed a BCL at the University of Oxford, graduating with a distinction average, and he was awarded the Law Faculty Prize for International Intellectual Property. Prior to this, Rob completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours.
