Elizabeth Raper has been recognised in 2018 Doyle's Guide as a Preeminent Barrister. Elizabeth has also been recognised in the 2018 Chambers and Partners Asia Guide for Band 1 Employment (Employment & WHS) and was recognised in this publication in 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014. Elizabeth Raper is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Law at Sydney University (Masters Programme) and co-author of the seminal discrimination text Discrimination Law and Practice (Federation Press 4th Ed).
Elizabeth appears across Australia in many matters including the High Court (in administrative and employment cases), Federal Court and FCCA (in employment and discrimination, freedom of information and industrial prosecution cases), Supreme Court and Court of Appeal (in insolvency, defamation, employment, contract intentional torts and commercial/equity disputes), Administrative Appeals Tribunal (in freedom of information cases), NCAT (in administrative, stamp duty and discrimination cases), Fair Work Commission (industrial disputes and unfair dismissals) and various Commissions.
Elizabeth also appears in government inquiries and coronials and was recently Counsel-Assisting in the North Sydney Inquiry.
