Eliot has a broad practice, focusing on commercial litigation, public law, and employment and industrial disputes. He has a particular focus on representative proceedings, and is currently briefed on behalf of plaintiff groups in securities class actions in the Federal and NSW Supreme Courts.
Before being called to the bar, Eliot practiced as a solicitor in Australia and London specialising in banking litigation, class actions and complex commercial disputes. He was also tipstaff to the Hon Justice RA Hulme of the NSW Supreme Court.
Eliot holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) from the University of Sydney and a Master of Laws (Distinction) from University College London.
