Dale Bampton appears, as lead counsel and as junior counsel to some of Australia's leading senior counsel, in proceedings in commercial, consumer and competition, intellectual property, and employment law, as well as in representative proceedings/class actions.
She has appeared for listed companies (Optus, DePuy/Johnson & Johnson, Emirates, Singapore Airlines), private companies, private individuals (including class members in representative proceedings) and government instrumentalities (Fair Work Ombudsman). Dale regularly performs work for Legal Aid NSW, including in claims for false imprisonment, assault and battery, consumer disputes, and migration appeals.
Dale is presently ranked as a recommended barrister in the Doyle's Guide for commercial litigation.
Dale has been an adjunct lecturer at the University of Sydney, and has since 2010 acted as an external consultant to the University of Sydney Jessup mooting team.
